Fabric: A midweight 100% acrylic fisherman-rib knit with high natural stretch. The acrylic is deliberate: it holds the deep rib standing wash after wash, resists pilling, keeps its colour and never turns scratchy the way a cheap wool does.
Fit: Relaxed, with raglan sleeves, a ribbed crew neck and deep ribbed cuffs and hem. Room through the chest and arms without hanging off you. Five colourways, S–3XL.
Wash & care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out, with similar colours.
Reshape and dry flat. Do not tumble dry on heat and do not hang a wet knit — the weight stretches the rib.
No fabric softener and no ironing. Acrylic does not need either; a cool steam from a distance lifts any fold.

How does the Admiral fit?
Relaxed fit with high stretch. Most men take their normal size. The chest figures on the size chart are the full garment circumference; a relaxed rib knit should run roughly 4–8" more than your own chest, and the stretch gives you another inch on top.
If your stomach is wider than your chest, size on the stomach. Between sizes? Size up — this is a sweater meant to sit easy, not cling.
What is it actually made of?
100% acrylic fisherman-rib knit, midweight, high stretch.
All-acrylic is the right call for a chunky rib. The deep rib has to spring back every time you pull it on, and acrylic does that for years where wool relaxes, pills and shrinks in the wash. It is soft against the neck with no itch, holds its colour, dries fast and is machine washable. The stretch is knitted in, not added elastane.
Will it pill or get scratchy?
No. The yarn is treated to resist pilling, and acrylic has none of the coarse fibre ends that make a wool sweater itch. Wash it inside out on a gentle cycle and it stays smooth.
What do I wear it with?
A plain white tee underneath so the collar shows, then chinos, cords or jeans and clean boots or sneakers. It is a weekend-and-evening sweater: coffee runs, the pub, a walk by the water, a cold-night dinner. Easy over a tee, too warm for a shirt and jacket.
How do I look after it?
Machine wash cold inside out, reshape and dry flat. No tumble dryer on heat, no hanging while wet, no fabric softener, no iron.
