Envoy - Pleated Wide Leg Trousers
The wide leg, done properly. Two deep pleats release from the waistband so the trouser falls straight from the hip to a full plain hem — a clean vertical line instead of anything clinging to the leg.
Fabric: A fluid mid-weight polyester blend with a dry matte finish and a deliberate drape. It holds a crease, resists wrinkling through a day of sitting, and moves in one piece rather than flapping.
Fit & Style: High-rise, pleated, wide straight leg. Flat front with belt loops, a real zip fly and a hidden elasticated back waistband — tailored where you see it, forgiving where you sit. The hem is cut to an intentional ankle-length break, so it settles on the shoe rather than pooling on it.
Design & Details: Deep slanted side pockets set into the seam, two welted back pockets, and a wide plain hem with no cuff to break the line.

Wash & care
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, inside out, with the zip closed and the waistband fastened so the elastic keeps its shape.
Hang dry. Do not tumble dry — heat sets creases into the pleats in the wrong places and tires the elastic.
Warm iron on the reverse if you want a sharper crease, pressing along the pleat rather than across it. No fabric softener, no bleach.
Hang them by the waistband, folded along the pleat line, and they will drop out on their own.

How do the Envoy trousers fit?
Buy them by your waist, not by your usual letter size. These are pleated and wide through the leg by design, so the hip and thigh are generous on every size — the waistband is the only measurement that has to fit you.
Take a tape around your natural waist where the trouser sits (just above the hip bone) and match it to the waist column on the size chart. If you land between two sizes, take the smaller one: the back waistband is elasticated and gives another inch or so.
Will they be too long or too short on me?
They are cut to an intentional ankle-length break — the hem is meant to sit at or just above the top of the shoe, not to pool over it. The inseam runs 27.6" on S to 28.8" on 2XL.
If you are over 6'2" they will read as a deliberate cropped trouser on you, which is fine if that is the look you want. Under 5'8", you may want an inch taken off the hem — the plain hem makes that a five-minute job for any tailor.
What are they actually made of?
A fluid mid-weight polyester blend with a dry matte finish.
That is the right fabric for this trouser and not a compromise. A wide pleated leg only looks like anything if the cloth has enough weight to fall in a straight line, and enough recovery to keep the pleat through a day of sitting down. Cotton in this cut creases behind the knee within an hour. This does not, and it does not shine.
Can I wear these to the office?
Yes. The flat front, belt loops and real fly are why — from the front they read as a tailored trouser, and the elastic is hidden at the back where nobody sees it. With a knit and loafers they hold up in most offices; with a plain tee and trainers they are a Saturday trouser. That range is the point.
How do I look after them?
Machine wash cold inside out with the zip closed and the waistband fastened, then hang dry. No tumble dryer, no fabric softener. If you want a sharper crease, warm iron on the reverse along the pleat.
